From January till December it is possible to rent my boat with me as skipper every day of the week. I will gladly tour you around the city and tell you all about my Amsterdam. During my studies I have worked on a canal boat, so I know lots of interesting things about the city and the canals. Besides that I can tell you a lot from my own experience. Seeing the city by boat is far better then seeeing it walking or biking. You have nothing to worry about, just relax, look around and enjoy the ride.
My boat is a 6.5 metres (21 ft.) steal canal boat with a 8 hp Yamaha outboard. It will take us anywhere and can carry up to 8 people. But to have maximum comfort I only take 6 passengers.
It is also possible that I arrange a picnic or just lots of beers or wine. Just let me know your desires! Everything is possible and if not I will still arrange it.

Amsterdam is a pretty big place. And when sightseeing over water at low speeds it takes days to see everything. So I have made a map on which I will show you the different parts of the city. We can do a tour in a specific part or combine tours. Your wish is my command! The different options are:
City center: lots to see here, always busy, red light district
South: quiet, expensive area with beautiful sights of rich Amsterdam
West: Old living area. Nice small canals. Good in combination with the centre.
Ijselmeer: my personal favourite. Throught the locks on open water, great in the summer for swimming and being away from the city.
Nieuwe meer: A small lake outside south of the city. Good for swiming or fishing.
Amstel: The river to which Amsterdam thanks its name. Goes on for miles. Old houses, little villages.
Price per hour (minumimum of 2 hours) boat with skipper, max. 6 passengers.
Price per day (8 hours) boat with skipper, max 6 passengers.

Everything else can be arranged. Varying from a simple picnic to a full coolbox with beer and wines or a handfull of joints. Just let me know what you want and it'll be on the boat. Indication: beer € 1,50 and a joint for € 3,00.
Everything goes with me, but there have to be some rules. So here are a few:
Boat rides must be booked and confirmed one week before the actual boat ride. If you desire otherwise just contact me! But without confirmation, no garantee!
Maximum amount of passengers is 6. More is possible but will conclude to less comfort on the boat. Contact me for details.
Only persons allowed on board who know how to swim. If you don't let me know in advance! Water can be dangerous and I want to make sure everybody gets back alive!
Your boat ride with me is at your own risk! Just like bungee jumping I provide the boat ride with the greatest security measures, but you know the risks when you get on board, so be safe!
